We constantly talk about the power of student-athletes, so it makes sense that we would be a natural believer in doing just that. Nearly every member of GTG’s staff was a college athlete, and we are continuing to add to those ranks.
We’re really please to announce that Nkem Ezurike, a former GTG student intern while a student-athlete at the University of Michigan, will begin working for GTG part-time.
Nkem, like all of our interns, was clearly talented. Bright, ambitious, driven. All the things you come to expect of a student-athlete.
Nkem went on to play professional soccer for the Boston Breakers, where she had a great rookie year. She is now working out with the Canadian national team getting ready for both national competition and next season with the Breakers.
In between, GTG is thrilled that Nkem agreed to join us part time working remotely from Canada assisting our operations team supporting our college customers. Just like college, Nkem’s schedule is jammed but she is focused and manages the priorities very capably.
We are thrilled to have Nkem back with us and excited to be to offer the opportunity. We believe flexible working options like this are the future and we want to stay ahead of it. The value is we get to work with Nkem, who we know will make a huge impact for us.
