Game Plan is gearing up for this year’s N4A Conference hosted by the National Association for Athletic Advisors that kicks off this Thursday in Dallas at the Hilton Anatole Hotel and Conference Center. Nearly 1,000 college athletic professionals will be in attendance to discuss the industry’s toughest topics and newest ideas on improving the student-athlete experience.
With the launch of a new brand and website, and the release of the newest version of Game Plan – we are excited to turn our attention to this weekend’s N4A festivities.
Looking over the N4A agenda, it is loaded with top industry professionals who will be hitting on the hot topics that all athletic departments are thinking about. With so many speakers and so little time, we wanted to share Game Plan’s picks for the presentations and topics we’re interested in following more this week:
Tim Elmore, Founder, Growing Leaders – Elmore’s leading research on the millennial generation puts him at the forefront for delivering effective student-athlete communication strategies.
Patrice Feulner and Brady Rourke, “Advice for Aspiring Directors” – Turnover is a hot issue in athletic departments at any level so this topic should deliver an inspiring discussion.
Casey Finnel and Stephon Fuqua, “Building a #DreamTeam between Coaches & Advisors” – Game Plan has long been an advocate for unifying the student-athlete experience and now more than ever coaches and development staff need to be on the same page in order to do so successfully. This duo will certainly hit on all points.
“Go for the Win: A Collaborative Model for Supporting Student-Athletes” – Game Plan is built around unifying the student-athlete experience and we truly believe this is the key to a program’s and a student-athlete’s success in the future.
“Empowering Student-Athletes and Preparing Them for Life After College” – The panel of speakers for this topic represent some great small programs so it will be interesting to see how these big initiatives are broken down into solutions that will support programs of all sizes.
