On July 20th at 1pm EST, Game Plan’s very own Erica Cenci will offer a webinar outlining best practices for holistic student-athlete development.
This session will explore program components and core elements needed for comprehensive student-athlete development and successful transitions from one stage to the next. Erica will dive into industry best practices and tactics for implementing a holistic approach at any collegiate level as well as walk through available resources and real case study examples.
The time is certainly right for colleges to embrace a broader interpretation of student-athlete development that goes beyond their academic performance—particularly now that overall four-year APRs for DI schools are nearing their apogee.
Governing bodies have already begun to turn their attention to student-athlete success beyond college. At a recent NCAA DI Presidential Forum, the DI Board of Directors identified future priorities for overseeing student-athlete development, including ensuring that the academic studies of college athletes align with career ambitions, and engagement, integration and life skills for student-athletes.
We hope you’ll join us for an in-depth look at strategies and programs you can implement now that will help build a more comprehensive student-athlete development experience.
