We are excited to announce our most recent partnership with the University of South Dakota Coyotes. USD’s Coyotes Life Skills and Academic Support Programs are shining examples of its student-athlete development staff’s commitment to comprehensive student-athlete development. With Game Plan, the University of South Dakota will now have powerful tools at their fingertips to reach more student-athletes, more efficiently.
Colleen Evans, Director, Student Athlete Success Center for University of South Dakota Athletics shares: “USD is committed to guiding and supporting our student-athletes throughout their time as a student-athlete after they graduate and leave campus and we’re looking forward to including Game Plan as a part of that support system. We’re excited to leverage Game Plan as the foundation for our programming and to be able to work with them to provide more jobs and internships for our student-athletes upon graduation.”
This program integration is a great example of how USD has shown they will break down the silos in athletic departments. Game Plan has already begun working with their student-athlete development professionals, as well as their sponsorship team to begin identifying sponsorship candidates that are interested in hiring the USD student-athletes. It is that type of innovation that will continue to allow USD to achieve so much.
South Dakota’s life skills and academic support programs are perfect examples of forward-thinking student-athlete development. With Game Plan’s powerful platform, eLearning modules, and assessments, South Dakota’s student-athletes are positioned for success in college academics, athletics and in life after sports.
