GREENVILLE, N.C. – Game Plan, the comprehensive student-athlete development platform that unifies and aligns athletic departments, athletes, and employers has officially partnered with UNCG Athletics. The Spartans’ ability to utilize Game Plan’s comprehensive platform is possible because of the generous sponsorship support from Big Kids Toys AV under the direction of long-time Spartan Club member Mike Twomey.
Through its partnership with Game Plan, UNCG will offer student-athletes various tools for their student-athlete development. Assessments and eLearning courses are taught in the same platform that will connect athletes to job opportunities through Game Plan’s Career Marketplace. UNCG will also establish its own career network for current student-athletes and alumni, as well as a custom mentorship network – connecting current student-athletes with former student-athletes.

Soon, Game Plan will launch its Mentor Marketplace, a resource for athletic departments to create their own mentor networks connecting alumni and student-athletes for mentorship and employment opportunities. By incorporating mentorship, UNCG is connecting student-athletes with one of the most valuable resources they can have in their journey — alumni. In addition, the Career Marketplace feature can be leveraged to create unique sponsorships – among the first of its type in the industry.
