(Greenville, NC) — Game Plan is proud to announce the latest addition to its roster of athletic organization partners, the University of Rhode Island Athletics.
A member of the Atlantic 10 Conference, the Rams feature 18 Division I varsity sports teams and are coming off an amazing run in last year’s NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.
“The University of Rhode Island’s Advising Programs for Student Athletes (APSA) is excited to partner with Game Plan to enhance our life skills program”, said various members URI’s Academic Advising team. “We are looking forward to using Game Plan to increase our student athlete’s readiness to enter the work force and to provide important career development training.”
Rhode Island will leverage Game Plan to comprehensively prepare student-athletes for their academic and athletic journey as well as for life after sport. In addition to innovative eLearnings around personal and professional development, URI will utilize Game Plan’s Sexual Violence Prevention curriculum to educate student-athletes and staff on the importance of healthy relationships and violence prevention.
