Irving, TX – The Big 12 Conference has partnered with Game Plan to provide custom eLearning courses to educate its student-athletes and administrators on the impact of sports wagering and integrity in sport. This curriculum will be available for the Conference and its member institutions beginning with the 2019-20 academic year.

With Game Plan’s expertise, a proactive, customized curriculum will be implemented to educate Big 12 student-athletes and administrators on the sports wagering marketplace, state legislation, as well as NCAA rules with 24/7 access.

“With the changes in legislation around sports wagering, integrating a platform to help our student-athletes and administrators understand this ever evolving landscape provides our campuses a vital educational tool,” commented Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby.  “Game Plan’s unique profile in this space ensures delivery of a sports wagering eLearning curriculum that is specific to those involved in intercollegiate athletics.”

“Sports wagering is a complex topic, moving rapidly, and is a challenge to keep up-to-date with. The Big 12 has taken a significant step as they have invested into educational resources for their student-athletes and administrators.” Vin McCaffrey, CEO, Game Plan.

Game Plan’s learning resources provide flexibility by allowing student-athletes to complete the educational programs online and on their own time.  Resources for the programs will be made available via Game Plan’s online platform as well as the company’s app for IOS and Android.
